Galadhar [ also spelled as Gala Dhar ] is a high altitude group of Meadows and rolling hills in the kastigarh tehsil of Doda district, at roughly 10,000 ft above the sea level. The Meadows are generally inhabited by nomadic Muslims , though some of them are Hindus also who traditionally moves between high altitude Meadows in the summer and lower altitude areas in the winter to find grazing land for their animals. The journey to this marvelous and hidden gem takes you through many breathtaking villages, gorges, cataracts and splendid pine and deodar trees.
